FORM (FKA.Audio) partners with Audio Documents (Audocs) – in first partnership since soft relaunch:
FORM (FKA.Audio) has officially partnered with Audio Documents (Audocs), the California-based independent music label and artist services company. The transaction is FORM’s first partnership following the North Carolina company’s strategic relaunch led by Brandon Donald Yohn’s investment company, Cropportunity, which took over the company in May, 14 years after its conception.
The partnership extends FORM (FKA.Audio)’s technological and digital music distribution arm.
Founded in 2008, Audio Documents (Audocs) operates globally from America. The company bridges the gap between democratization and decentralization in content distribution, aiming to spread power, resources, and access to promote equality and local autonomy across entertainment, education, and technology.
Audocs describes itself as a launchpad rather than a gatekeeper, utilizing a unique "Signing-up" model—a hybrid of formal agreement and service registration. This approach prioritizes equitable access, offering predictable quarterly entry points for emerging artists while providing the same opportunities to established artists and large catalogs. Audio Documents (Audocs) maintains a steadfast commitment to delivering best-in-class technology and service as an artist-first company.
Brandon Yohn, CEO and Co-Founder of FORM (FKA.Audio), stated: “With the U.S. pulling in half of the global vinyl market—hitting $1 billion in sales in 2025—the demand for both physical and digital access is at an all-time high. We’re stoked to partner up on the Audocs infrastructure, specifically the Audio Documents platform, to make sure our artists, labels, and managers across the board are positioned to handle this global appetite and really scale their reach.”
FORM (FKA.Audio) has secured distribution deals since 2016, including major partnerships in Germany and Belgium. The addition of Audio Documents (Audocs) reinforces this commitment to delivering best-in-class technology and service as an artist-first company.
FORM COO Muhammad Hasan said: “Since 2016, Audocs and FORM (FKA.Audio), then known as FKACO, shared the same vision around empowering independent artists and labels through technology, transparency, and service. Joining forces allows us to keep building on what we started while expanding the opportunities available to our artists, partners, and team.”
Founded in 2012, Formerly Known As Company (FORM, FKA.Audio) works with artists, labels, and other clients. Under the FORM umbrella, Audocs will continue its "Hang Loose" policy, ensuring creators are not treated as just another number. The partnership reinforces a shared commitment to championing creativity, autonomy, and financial independence, ensuring every creator has the opportunity to thrive in an industry often dominated by major corporations.
Before the partnership with Audio Documents (Audocs), FORM (FKA.Audio) primarily drove its expansion through strategic investments rather than collaborative partnerships. In 2026, the company executed six-figure investments in its infrastructure and catalog. This transition toward direct partnership aligns with Audocs' mission to build a more equitable ecosystem by breaking down barriers and providing creators with the proprietary tools—such as the Audio Documents (Telet Core) engine—necessary for autonomy and financial success.
